Job Duties:
Design, development, testing, and implementation of new and existing mainframe software application systems. Develop new programs and stored procedures using COBOL and DB2, as well as related development, debugging, and testing tools. Conduct unit testing and document results. Gather business requirements and modify, existing mainframe programs. Provide 24x7 technical support, including use of Incident Management Support systems. Generate and automate database reports.
Requirements:

Experience:

- Experience in all phases of project development including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation;
- Navigating the mainframe environment using TSO, ISPF, zOS, MVS;
- Software change manager tools such as Changeman, Endevor or Ford pups;
- Batch processing using JCL, Syncsort, VSAM, GSAM and IBM utilities;
- Vendor toolsets such as Xpediter, File-aid and Abend-aid;
- Online processing using MFS and IMS/DC (or CICS)

Develop and deploy operational processes that optimize Network Operations on a global basis, with primary focus on Network Operations Center processes and CNA processes. Provide focus for delivering feedback to planning and engineering activities regarding IP converged services. Configure, upgrade, and maintain router configurations. Manage and implement customer-initiated network change requests for Internet changes. Plan, schedule, communicate and implement WAN and LAN technologies.
