:: Business Warehouse
Implementing SAP Business Warehouse is an inevitable challenge every enterprise running the R/3 system faces. MGL’s combination of offshore/onsite model of delivery would expedite the implementation process and thus save time and money for our clients.
Our expertise in SAP implementation across industry verticals can help clients move configuration and custom developed objects by anticipating potential mines and mitigate the risks proactively. During the process, our Consultants can demonstrate new features available in the higher version and how best they can be used.
The focus areas include:
- Business performance management: Identification and setting up of standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various areas in the enterprise
- Business content: Help construct data-flow models and provide predefined templates for reporting and analysis, with corresponding technical and business definitions, such as extraction and transformation rules, queries and web applications. These would be a standard business content provided by SAP BW, which would be configured to generate the KPIs. Custom business content would be more complex in nature and these will be identified and scoped out as well.
- Metadata management: Metadata management is handled throughout the business intelligence process, from extracting to querying data. A pre-configured, extensible metadata repository ensures consistent, accurate and integrated data. The capability allows the reuse of metadata from applications throughout the enterprise and provides users with a better understanding of the information they're analyzing. Accordingly, our Consultants configure BW Metadata for the selective areas.
- Collaborative business intelligence: It allows decision-makers to work together, add comments to reports and key figures, automate approval processes, and participate in decision-making in the wider context of the enterprise. The capability takes advantage of mySAP Enterprise Portal to display information in context and enables collaboration supported by knowledge management technologies.
